Truth be told, I’ve never used MovieTickets.com as I’ve opted for Fandango instead. Nothing really against the former, I just felt guilty after seeing so many of those paper bag people before movies. In addition, this was before MovieTickets.com stole the show from them at least at AMC. What will get me to pick them over Fandango is the contest they have going on right now. It might be an effort to steal people away from seeing some movie starring Sienna Miller and Snake Eyes, but the benefits are almost worth it (plus, I don’t see Paramount offering a free date with Sienna Miller for buying G.I. Joe tickets.)
In (un)honor of A Perfect Getaway opening (review to follow tomorrow), MovieTickets.com is offering those who purchase tickets to the film from August 5th to the 9th a shot at $100,000 or A Trip to Hawaii for the next ten years. Yeah, they hook you up very nicely. So there you have it, all you need to do is use MovieTickets.com to purchase tickets to A Perfect Getaway and you’re automatically entered.
