She was able to get Em's character across. I actually felt so bad for Em. They were all drinking and smoking pot. Especially James he was always drunk and supplying pot. However, I'm surprised you didn't lament about the ridiculously bland performance of Jesse Eisenberg. I actually think his motivation was to act like a piece of soggy wheat bread.It's true that if you went into the feature not expecting a comedy, maybe it'd be more enjoyable - though that's like saying I'd enjoy spoiled milk if it was the only choice between life and death ... it would still taste horrible ... much like this film.
