Alice In Wonderland makes Super Bowl appearance

The first movie advertisement to run during Super Bowl 44 in Miami on CBS was Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

ALICE was the only film to advertise during the first half of the game starring Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts versus Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. The second film to run an ad in the Super Bowl was PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

The ALICE ad has to be a first Super Bowl appearance for Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. ALICE IN WONDERLAND will be in theaters March 5th, 2010 and PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME will follow in the summer of 2010.
