Last night, on FOX’s mega-hit TV show, “American Idol,” Quentin Tarantino made a special guest mentor appearance and debuted a sneak preview of never-seen-before footage from his upcoming movie, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS. Below is the entire clip that was too hot to air on primetime TV during “American Idol.”
During World War II a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as “The Basterds” are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. The Basterds soon cross paths with a French-Jewish teenage girl who runs a movie theater in Paris which is targeted by the soldiers.
While I doubt that many American Idol fans paid attention to this,I am super excited to see the in your face Tarantino come to the big screen again. Enjoy the latest TV Spot from Tarantino below.
What do you all think about the upcoming Tarantino film? Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Tarantino.. come on, it will kick some major ass.
And yes that is Mike Myers as General Ed Fenec!

Quentin sure is a weird guy. He’s constantly laughing at his own jokes, awkward, and seems about to explode with rage.
Mike Myers looks like a character out of Austin Powers, with the accent to match. What a shame.
I feel like I should be struck down by saying that I’m one of those who actually isn’t looking forward to this. I don’t see the appeal.
