I know you’re saying, “we already knew he was coming back for another”. But what you didn’t know is the next film’s title.Drum roll please…”Quantum of Solace” The BBC broke the news, saying that the title comes from one of Fleming’s short stories published in 1960. Supposedly the film will begin “literally an hour after the last film left off”, according to co-producer Michael Wilson.If the new film is anything like “Casino Royale”, we’re all in for a treat.Bring on “Quantum of Solace”!

What a silly name for a James Bond movie, no? Quantum of Solace? The movie might turn out fine, but the title is sure underwhelming.

The title is the name of one of Ian Fleming’s short stories that was in the novel “For your eyes only.” the title only is being used as the plot has nothing I do with what this movie will be. Also, the title “Quantum of Solace” plays into a major plot of the new movie and is not just a simple title of a film. Even Daniel Craig said he was a bit perplexed by the name but when he learned the true meaning of the title he agreed that this was a good one to choose.
