And there goes LA, 2012 Style

The city of Los Angeles is falling apart in a big way with an exclusive five minute clip from Ronald Emerich’s latest disaster-piece 2012. Starring John Cusack and Amanda Peet, the most recent take on who would survive the end of the world in this situation is coming to theaters on November 13th. Using to his full advantage of the superstitious tale of the world coming to an end on 2012, check the clip below and let us know what you think:

  • I honestly think I am going to love this movie. The effects look to be okay but the thrill ride looks to be super fun.

I'll see this as it looks like it will be a "fun" movie to sit through but I have a few problems based on what I've seen in this clip and it isn't like me to nit-pick before seeing a movie. 1) It seems as if the destruction in L.A. was chasing Cusack and friends. I mean, how is it that he is the only one that can out-drive a collapsing highway and toppling buildings and no one else can? No other planes or helicopters were able to take off before the airport goes belly-up? 2) Ronald Emerich did this already in 2004 with "The Day After Tomorrow" and the mass destruction of various cities.
