Atomic Popcorn brings you yet another Top 10 Tuesday! This time we are bring you a list of some of the best chase scenes around. While most of us think about chase scenes involving cars, I have added a few to my list of chases without cars. You hit the # 1 spot on the button…must say the scenes in “Taken” were good too.. Arnold in “Commando” the “Die Hard 4″ wasnt half bad and the double decker bus chase scene in “The Tournament”

  2. 1movieman says:

And you didn't even put in Smokey and the Bandit?

  3. plus1 says:

How can you leave out the chase sequence in “Bad Boys 2″ (They threw a boat at your car) or “The Rock” (San Fransisco was a great location for this chase sequence)…Michael Bay knows how to choreograph a good chase sequence.

The best non car chases would have to include the scene in and around the train station in The Bourne Ultimatum as well.

And while it's not a best chase scene, the mid point chase in the football stadium in El Secreto De Sus Ojos is amazingly shot. Blew me away last night.

The only good part about Ronin was the chases…

  5. um… The French Connection?

  6. The Blues Brothers, Death Proof (thanks to The Rotten Tomatoes Show)

  7. Andy says:

Whilst the skiing from The Spy Who Loved Me is great, the boat chase from Live and Let Die is even better.
Another vote for the Blue Brothers and French Connection as well.
