Marylin Manson was "shock music" because of what he, and he alone, says and does; Cohen's Borat was a "shock movie" since, as Borat, he did outrageous things but the the Americans he interviewed had the most unacceptable responses and did/said the most unacceptable things found in that film. I don't think these two are even compareable, and I don't believe Cohen will fade away since he's been doing his characters (Borat, Ali G, and Bruno) since 2000 and in the mean time has established himself in other roles as a very versitile actor. I also will go on the record as stating I watched maybe 10 minutes of Borat before turning it off. Its trash, not so much for him alone but for all the morons in the country that responded the way they did. I also lived down the road from the drivers ed guy!!
