Atomic Popcorn presents to Baltimore Wes Anderson’s upcoming animated film, FANTASTIC MR. FOX, starring the voices of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murray. The animation on this film looks to be stunning and something that we haven’t seen the likes of before.

The screening will be on Tuesday, November 24th at 7:30pm at a local AMC Theater. Directed by Wes Anderson, FANTASTIC MR. FOX opens in area theaters on Wednesday, November 25^th!

Synopsis:

FANTASTIC MR. FOX is visionary director Wes Anderson’s first animated film, utilizing classic handmade stop motion techniques to tell the story of the best selling children’s book by Roald Dahl (author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach).

Mr. and Mrs. Fox (Clooney and Streep) live an idyllic home life with their son Ash (Schwartzman) and visiting young nephew Kristofferson (Eric Anderson).  But after 12 years, the bucolic existence proves too much for Mr Fox’s wild animal instincts.  Soon he slips back into his old ways as a sneaky chicken thief and in doing so, endangers not only his beloved family, but the whole animal community.  Trapped underground and with not enough food to go around, the animals band together to fight against the evil Farmers – Boggis, Bunce and Bean – who are determined to capture the audacious, fantastic Mr Fox at any cost.

Atomic Popcorn will be giving out up to 75 passes for the upcoming release of Gentlemen Broncos.  The upcoming movie from Fox Searchlight’s, Gentlemen Broncos looks to be another off the wall comedy. From the guy who brought us Napoleon Dynamite, we get yet another look into the brain of Jared Hess.  This film stars Michael Angarano, Sam Rockwell, and Jemaine Clement and really looks to deliver some laughs.

The Baltimore screening will once again be your local theater on November 16th at 7:30pm.
