After a killer hiatus, filled with such fluff as — oh wait, were the Olympics real? — Chuck returns March 1st, and continues its upward trek exactly where it left off. This is a fantastic show with a great ensemble and writers who actually seem to have some ability to zoom in on specific character and plot developments without losing the cohesion of the overall story arc.
Without spoiling, the rift between the serious spy business and the Buy More monkey business widens in this preview. I heard some major griping on the web about the Chuck-Hannah-Shaw-Sarah …wait, not triangle… well, anyway, let’s go with: sexual tension grows between Sarah and Chuck. I honestly don’t understand how she’s survived in the profession this long, except that her boyfriends keep dying off. Not a good sign for Chuck and Shaw; we don’t know if this has anything to do with the teaser we get here of Chuck with a sniper rifle and Shaw in the crosshairs.
