I think it has the ability to be one of the better comic book movies.

I am really looking forward to the Thor movie. I want someone to do it right and stay faithful to the source material, which is some of the richest in mainstream comics (and the best of the Marvel line).I'd love for some studio head to see this and say, "Okay, Ian's right. Let's do the Mutant Massacre storyline and just remain true to it; no fudging of ages, relationship angles or pulling punches." With a retooled cast (mostly the villains), a good script (not anyone behind the first 3 films or the Wolverine debacle), a good director (i.e. NOT Brett Ratner), this would push the X-Men into Dark Knight territory ...And no I'm not being facetious ... a bit of a fanboy but I'm thinking with both my heart and my head this time around.

Well, with Fox rebooting Fantastic Four (good god, why?), I say it’s time for an X-Men reboot.
