This new addition only did justice to the others during the action scenes, which were, admittedly, plentiful, but other than that it really tries to throw the series down the drain. Perhaps the previous indies were responsible for some bad nightmares in the Spielberg house or Geourge Lucas' dog got run over by one of those "hitler-mobiles" he's so fond of; we just don't KNOW! The ending was definitely the most shocking bit; not even worthy of comment, it should have been simply cut out and stuck back into whatever star trek star trek series it came from.
