DeFrance and Damon Join Clint Eastwood’s ‘Hereafter’

522The Informant himself, Matt Damon, will be joining forces with Belgian actress Cecile De France to star in director Clint Eastwood’s “supernatural drama” titled Hereafter.

Written by Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, Bond 23), Hereafter centers around “three people who are touched by death in different ways. De France, whose credits include High Tension and Russian Dolls, will portray a French journalist who has a near-death experience.”

The film began production last month, and will continue to film all across the world in  Paris, London, San Francisco and Hawaii. Don’t expect to see Hereafter come to light until December of next year.

Personally, I’m excited to see Eastwood branch out from the real world a bit and try his hand at something new. Ideally, though, he’d direct himself in a remake of Every Which Way But Loose. That would be brilliant.
