HitFlix hit up producer Jerry Bruckheimer about Disney’s slate (and probably for some cash, I’m just sayin’). “I think for Disney it will mostly be Pirates, obviously,” the immortal Bruckheimer says. “That’s a great franchise for them and for us too. Beloved, with a great character and Johnny’s really excited about coming back to Captain Jack. ”
When asked if Depp wanted to go with Lone Ranger first, Bruckheimer said that “Disney’s priority is to get [a fourth] Pirates made,” but that Depp remained interested in portraying Lone Ranger sidekick Tonto.
Bruckheimer’s animated family feature, G-Force will hit theaters August 7th.
