Ritter and Valderrama ready to jump into The Dry Lands
Jason Ritter (W.) and Wilder Valderrama (Days of Wrath)get picked up for the latest indie drama flick, The Dry Land. Originally titled American Tragic, the story focuses on a young soldier who returns home from a tour on duty only to find that his small town life no longer fits. Jason Ritter play’s one of the hometown buddies who made sure the soldier’s wife (America Fererra) was watched over while he was overseas.
The upcoming film will be distributed under Maya Entertainment. Ryan Piers Williams is directing and writing who previously worked on other films such as Muerta and Oceans Thirteen. Valderrama will also be taking part in Days of Wrath which is also slated for a 2010 release date while Ritter continues filling up his resume, currently in the middle of production in Morning.
