It is quite obvious that J.J. Abrams, creator of such hit television shows like Alias and Lost, would be hot commodity whenever he creates yet another series. Networks salivate over the possibility of having their hands on the next Abrams hit, which is why they all flocked towards him when he finished his latest drama spec script. ABC, NBC and CBS all dove straight at the golden boy of sorts and now only one network is in the lead. NBC is winning the bidding war, swaying the spy drama for their own channel.
The story is about two spies that work together that are also husband and wife. This will not be Abrams’ first time with spies, previously doing so with the five season series called Alias which starred Jennifer Garner. Abrams is also expected to write up the script for the latest installment of the Mission Impossible series of films.
