Fighting Round the World with Robin Crowe

That’s right, for all of those who just absolutely salivate still when the words ‘Ridley Scott’ is said or who absolutely love Australian actor Russell Crowe, the first production still of the upcoming Robin Hood movie is out for us all to see. Trading in his tights and pointed cap for some boots and a look to kill, this version of the beloved character looks ready to do battle in the arena in a Gladiator prequel.

The story centers around an archer in the army of Richard Coeur de Lion who fights against the Norman invaders and becomes the legendary hero known as Robin Hood. Among the rest of the cast is the likes of William Hurt, Cate Blanchett and Kevin Durand among others. What seems to be one of the many that’s set for a summer release date, this one without even trying has already peaked a nice portion of people’s interests.
