Spike Jonze’s Where The Wild Things Are, an adaptation of the beloved childhood novel, is finally starting to peek out. Within the past couple of days release of a poster, new images and an upcoming teaser trailer attached to Monsters Vs Aliens has finally got the marketing ball rolling for this long awaited film. Where The Wild Things Are is about a disobedient little boy sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world–a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler. The film stars newbie Max Records as the central character with other actors voicing the monsters such as Forest Whittaker, Catherine O’Hara and Paul Dano among others.
This particular film has been pushed back already, having to deal with all sorts of reshooting and creative head butting. With an October 16th release date, this flick is getting prepped up for the masses to see.
