Are you like the rest of us, clamoring to get even the briefest glimpse of James Cameron’s upcoming Avatar? While the film is months away (and Mr. Cameron insists on intriguing us with only sparse images and vague hints), you have a chance to see more on “Avatar Day,” August 21st. What’s more, however, is that you also have a shot to see 16 minutes of Avatar footage for free!
According to the LA Times, first come, first serve tickets to the sneak preview screenings of Avatar will be available on Monday, August 17th. You can obtain them via a mad dash to AvatarMovie.com. At 6 and 6:30 PM on Friday August 21st, a Cameron-introduced batch of preview footage (including material unreleased at SDCC) will be shown to eager audiences, and you have a chance to take part with no cost to you.
