Free Baltimore Screening of Shutter Island on Feb 17th

Atomic Popcorn again brings you the best in local Baltimore movie screenings. February 17th we have a screening for Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest film – Shutter Island. I have been following this movie for a long time and it is a MUST see!

Synopsis:

From Oscar®-winning director Martin Scorsese, “Shutter Island” is the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.

  2. This sucks! I have been waiting for the passes to pop up on here for weeks. They must have gone fast.

  3. Chris says:

I signed up for a pass and was able to print one. When I went to GOFOBO i selected that I wanted two passes however when I went to print them both out only one shows up….is this one pass good for two people? I wanted to bring my wife

  4. This stinks, been trying to get tickets. The tickets must have gone quickly! Getting anymore?

  5. Matthew says:

Yes the printout is good for two folks. It should say that somewhere on gofobo.

  6. Matthew says:

Melinda, sorry but the tickets are gone for the alloted amount. Gofobo is in control of what Atomic Popcorn gets for this screening. Better luck next time.

  8. Sarah says:

I have signed up to receive the daily emails and still only got the email about the screening an hour ago. I have no clue how to improve my chances of getting tickets.

  9. Matthew says:

    Hey Sarah,

For real time notifications you can follow us throw twitter at @atomicpopcorn or you use use regular RSS which is then read via a reader such as http://www.google.com/reader.
That would all depend how often you are on the net along with how often you check said reader/site.

I have the same trouble getting passes. I liked the way your site was before. Giving a certain number to sign in for passes than ending.

  11. Matthew says:

Nothing about our site has changed. This was a screening through gofobo. I have an upcoming screening that will be a sign up. That doesn't help the above folks who don't get here in time before the rabid freebie seekers get here.

As said in other posts, the screenings are first come first served. As we also said, you may not sign up for back to back screenings that we host without the help of gofobo. This is for folks like Melinda and Joe to have a turn instead of the same 30 people seeing movies free of charge.

  12. chris says:

thanks… I checked the ticket and it says my name in the center then on the side of the ticket it says admit one any ideas?

  13. chris says:

I contacted gofobo and was told that sometimes when someone is trying to reserve two tickets and there are only 3 left one person will only get one. Well I unfortunately was the individual who only got one. Looks like I am going alone.
