The future of the Terminator franchise has been up in the air for a while now, but it looks like an outcome may finally be in sight.
Halcyon Holding Group has announced that the auction to pick up rights to the franchise should be complete by February 1st. They also gave an update on how things have been going, saying that they’ve been having discussions and negotiations with several major studios, and have also been given several options for refinancing.
The company had originally announced in October that they’d set a minimum bid price for the franchise by November 20th, but has since decided not to continue with that process.
