Giveaway: Stone Blu-Ray Package

No you don’t get Ed Norton’s newest film Stone on Blu-ray before it hits theaters! You do get a great blu-ray pack though! Follow the rules below to enter yourself into the giveaway!!

Synopsis:

Academy Award® winner Robert De Niro and Oscar® nominee Edward Norton deliver powerful performances as a seasoned corrections official and a scheming inmate whose lives become dangerously intertwined in Stone, a thought-provoking drama directed by John Curran (The Painted Veil, We Don’t Live Here Anymore) and written by Angus McLachlan (Junebug).

As parole officer Jack Mabry (De Niro) counts the days toward a quiet retirement, he is asked to review the case of Gerald “Stone” Creeson (Norton), in prison for covering up the murder of his grandparents with a fire. Now eligible for early release, Stone needs to convince Jack he has reformed, but his attempts to influence the older man’s decision have profound and unexpected effects on them both.

Stone skillfully weaves together the parallel journeys of two men grappling with dark impulses, as the line between lawman and lawbreaker becomes precariously thin. The film’s superb ensemble features Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element) as Lucetta, Stone’s sexy, casually amoral wife, and Golden Globe® winner Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) as Madylyn, Jack’s devout, long-suffering spouse.

Set against the quiet desperation of an economically ravaged community and the stifling brutality of a maximum security prison, this tale of passion, betrayal and corruption examines the fractured lives of two volatile men breaking from their troubled pasts to face uncertain futures.

Edward Norton is an incredible actor and he is very versatile. His roles are never quite the same. Some actors get typecasted, but he never does. Always switches it up, which is awesome. Favorite movie of his… that is a tough one, been in so many good films! I would say Primal Fear and Fight Club.

  3. Mike says:

I’ve liked Ed Norton since I saw him in ‘Primal Fear’, that performance alone got me hooked. Since then I found one amazing performance after another from him. From ‘American History X’ to ‘Fight Club’ to the latest one in ‘Leaves of Grass’ (which I recommend everyone check out.) Fantastic career. I cannot wait to see Stone.

he is a great actor-i liked him in incredibke hulk

  16. Tom Clayton says:

Ed Norton is an amazing versatile actor who caught my attention with his breakout performance in Primal Fear. He has moved on to create one of the most diverse and interesting resumes in Hollywood. His stirring performance in American History X is just stunning, while his “everyman” portrayal of a man with nothing to lose in Fight Club has become one of my all time favorites. He has also really shined in dramatic fare such as Rounders, 25th Hour, and the illusionist while being pretty hilarious in comedies such as Keeping the Faith and Death to Smoochy. When it comes to actors of his generation Ed Norton has to be viewed as one of the greats and a worthy successor to the DeNiro/Pacino generation as we enter the next phase of movie star.

  17. gingar25 says:

Since his breakout performance in Primal Fear, Ed Norton has been one of my favorite actors. From intense(American History X) to easy going (Keeping the Faith) to fnatasy/comic character (Hulk), to mysterious (The Illusionist) – he does it all. When he’s in character, the viewer is drawn in. I also feel a touch of pride because he is from MD.
