Bret Michaels, best known as the frontman for the glam rock band Poison, may miss the live finale of Celebrity Apprentice 3 due to his current medical condition.

He hasn’t had good luck recently regarding his health. He was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy on April 12, 2010. Less than two weeks later, he was again rushed an undisclosed hospital on April 22, 2010 complaining of an intense headache, akin to being hit repeatedly with a baseball bat. It was discovered that he had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, bleeding in the area between the brain and the thin tissues that cover the brain. He is currently in ICU, and is listed in critical condition. It is not suspected that his emergency appendectomy had any connection to his brain hemorrhage.
The two-hour live season finale of Celebrity Apprentice 3 is slated to air on Sunday, May 23, 2010, less than a month away. Donald Trump doesn’t think he’ll make the live taping. Trump, never one to mince words, told TMZ that Michaels is in “big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great.” A post-script after the latest episode wished Michaels a speedy recovery.
On Sunday, his publicist updated awaiting fans that the rocker was conscious and talking with slurred speech. Michaels is still under 24-hour supervision, and doctors continue to search for the source of the bleed. A source told MSNBC.com that Michaels is still suffering from the headache, but is heavily sedated.
His website tells fans to keep on the lookout for an official medical report from doctors this week on BretMichaels.com
