Heroes – Four Months Later

Well for starters – Heroes is BACK !!!

This Premiere episode could have been better but we get most answers we wanted, and like always, have new questions. This wasn’t quite as big as I wanted or expected. But it was still good.

The characters we didn’t see and don’t know the fates of, at least for sure. Nikki, DL, Micah, Sylar, etc. I want to know what happened to them, if DL and Sylar are really dead, but if Peter is alive along with Hiro, so is Sylar. Is Nikki really the clear winner over Jessica, etc. But honestly, I would rather wait another week to find out about them and see them then have had this episode be to full of back/front story.

I loved the way Mohinder and Matt are raising Molly together. Very cool idea to pick up the little girl. What really impressed me was how he has gone undercover to help HRG bring down the company. The diabolical method used by these good men to stop evil is one element of this show I love. Molly keeps seeing the eyes of the one who always sees her. I cannot wait to find out who it is! And I love the father / daughter relationship she has with Parkman.

The Bennett’s, now the Butlers? It’s a neat couple of stories they have going for Claire and HRG. I already stated that I like HRG and Mohinder’s story. I will say that I’m not a fan of the scene’s with HRG at his job. I do think its cleaver though that they are having him work at a paper company again. The Claire stuff was interesting, but lacked in the back story areas. What happened between here and Nathan, her grandmother? Where is the Hatian? How did they decide on LA ( I think it was in LA ) and why? As for the new guy in her life, West, I’m intrigued. He can fly, just like Nathan. Is this the first sign we’ve seen of repeat powers? Or is there more to West’s abilities? Is he related to Nathan ? Another child out of wedlock ?

I’m upset about the death of Kaito Nakamura. I would have much rather seen Angela Petrelli die first, but that’s what makes death in fiction work. So who is this hooded guy/girl. He had said he didn’t expect him. Did Ando now mark his own life by being in the way?

Maya and Alejandro intrigue me just a bit. Her power/ability is a neat one, but it seems she is not under control of it at all. There’s always been such a strong connection between family and powers, we shall see if it tells us more in the weeks to come.

Nathan and his mother have always pissed me off so nothing stuck me as worth mentioning besides the scare that saw in the reflection at the bar. Nothing really more to note besides he is a drunk now. I assume this is due to him not being in the spotlight anymore, and missing his brother Peter.

So whats with Peter kicking more ass in the shipping container than he did against Sylar last season? How or why is he in Ireland and who are these Irish mobsters? It should lead us down a fun path since Peter has no idea who is he or why he is there.

I hope to see things ramp up for the upcoming episodes. I must say that Heroes in HD rocks !!
