Jamie Foxx is Due

Academy award winning actor Jamie Foxx is the latest to join the expanding cast of the newest Todd Phillips comedy Due Date. He adds onto the list that already includes Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, and Michelle Monaghan. Foxx will be playing Downey Jr’s friend who dated his wife awhile back but secretly still keeps in touch.

The story centers on a high-strung father-to-be is forced to hitch a ride with a college slacker on a road trip in order to make it to his child’s birth on time. Filming for this new project is expected to start sometime this fall with locations being at Los Angeles, Atlanta and New Mexico. Todd Phillips is also producing along with Daniel Goldberg under Green Hat Films.
