Kung Fu Panda 2 Movie Review

Sitting here writing a movie review for Kung Fu Panda 2, one needs to think about how to deliver it. You need to invest some time into how you open your review and how you capture your readers; do you make them scroll to the bottom of it? Do you make them skip it all and just look for the ratings?

Well I am switching it up!

Kung Fu Panda 2 is better than the first!

Yes you read that right. I am blunt person and I don’t care what you think. This movie was a great thing.

The 2nd film starts some time after the Furious Five and the infamous Dragon Warrior have come to peace with one another. Times have passed, battles have been one, peace has been restored, but a new enemy has been lurking in the dark, planning his return to China.

Kung Fu will die!

The storyline in Kung Fu Panda 2 is deeper, richer and overall better than the first. It reaches a target audience of everyone! The depth is for us adults, the riches is for the kids and the overall feel and message is for everyone.

The art direction surrounding this film is amazing. The 3d honestly lacking, but the animation is awesome. I sit here wracking my brain for a better animated film from Dreamworks.

Overall the tone of the film is a light one. Dark does intrude so watch the little ones. My five year old said she loved it but won’t watch it again, she didn’t “like that bad guy so much”.

This is a must see in the theater, but don’t spend your money on the 3d. I could have down without the large glasses on my face, over my already glassed face!
