As I sit there and type this in my Flynn’s Arcade shirt, it’ll probably come as shock that I’ve just recently seen Tron. The Comic Con trailer for Tron Legacy was the one that finally forced me to break the mold and enter the program. Pretty much, I’m a tad more excited for Tron Legacy now that my Tron cherry’s been popped. The super slick trailer they’ve shown at Comic Con and online is only helping build anticipation.

So is the casting of Michael Sheen. While true, he has some Underworld and New Moon credits to his name, those are instantly made up with some Frost/Nixon, Blood Diamond, Kingdom of Heaven and now this. The announcement came via Walt Disney Pictures own Twitter and the word is Sheen will be playing the villain who combats Kevin Flynn and his son. Sheen himself once described him as ‘not a person at all.’ All in all, it looks like this could shape up to be better than the first go-around.
Tron Legacy opens in 2010
