New Beowulf Trailer
Beowulf was a book I was supposed to read in twelfth grade English. I couldn’t get into it, despite the fact that it sounded awesome. Coincidentally, Beowulf is also a movie that I just can’t seem to get into despite the fact that it sounds like it should be awesome. Angelina Jolie nude? Check. Tough guy monster slayer? Check. Cripsin freaking Glover? Check. Buckets of violence? Check. So why am I not chomping at the bit for this one? Check out the latest trailer for yourself and draw your own conclusions. What? Man, the fire and wolves look awesome, but the people just look so lifeless. I am no fan of CGI and this kind of stuff is why. Like Dane Cook, it has no soul.
