I'm glad to know the new director is delves more deeply into character study, for openers. The 2001 re-make was so devoid of that, it was hard to keep an interst in it--------------and ended up being a HUGE disappointmen, especially considering that Tim Burton was involved. But, I'm a big fan of the orig. "Planet of the Apes" films (org. and sequels), I'm excited to know this one is in production.
