The real problem is that the show wasn't that good and ruined the comic book for decades afterwards. Marvel wants their main characters to have movies, I understand that but Hulk has always been a hard character to sell in the media world outside the comic book as many wouldn't understand why he can talk, or is gray, or smart, or no longer changes to Bruce David Banner.
