While Platinum Dunes’ repeated projects of re-imagined horror classics is a horror in itself, one should be in awe of the money those experiments rake in. Though complete flash-in-the-pans in terms of prolonged box office success (Friday the 13th dropped from the top ten in just over two weeks), will its new retread of A Nightmare on Elm Street be any different? A Nightmare on Elm Street will hit theaters April 16, 2010.
