Summit Entertainment's star child continues to make waves.
Everyone’s favorite pale faced angst ridden vampire is apparently in Summit Entertainment’s good graces while he’s in talks to play the lead role in their upcoming film, Memoirs. This newly formed romantic drama circles around two star crossed lovers as they try to maintain their relationship in the midst of their own personal family tragedies. No word yet on who the female lead will be, but the upcoming film will be directed by Allen Courtler (Hollywoodland). The screenplay, which was originally written by Will Fetters will be polished up by accredited writer Jenny Lumet (Racheal Getting Married). The film will be produced by Nick Osborne and Trevor Engelson under Underground Films.
What I don’t understand here is how everyone finds it completely surprising that he’s getting the royal treatment for possibly staring in a film like this when its under the same company that made him a mega star with Twilight. It’ll be no surprise that he ends up signing on for this project, mostly cause they already know his work schedule for the next couple of years due to their franchise so its a win-win situation for him. He is also appearing in an upcoming film set for a May 8th release date entitled Little Ashes, fixed up for a limited release.
