Blige ready to lounge it up in I Can Do Bad All By Myself

Grammy award winner Mary J. Blige is ready to slide her way onto the big screen, hopping on board with Tyler Perry’s latest play-turned-film creation, I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Blige will be playing basically herself in a sense, a singer and a nightclub manager. She joins the cast which includes Brian White (Fighting) and Taraji P. Henson (Curious Case of Benjamin Button).

I Can Do Bad All By Myself is, as I just previously stated, yet another one of Tyler Perry’s plays converted up onto the big screen. The story centers around Vyanne who flees over to Madea’s house from her cheating husband. When Madea becomes sick, or not as sick as her family thinks she is, Vyanne also is caught in the entangled web of taking back her verbally abusive husband that she still loves or opening her heart to Bobby, a handy man who has close ties to Madea.

Although there was speculation that Perry would make his next big screen conversion the popular Madea’s Class Reunion, it was announced that this film would take its place. It will be filmed at Perry’s studios in Atlanta and will be set for a Sept 11 release.
