Prince of Persia: Footage of Time

If anything, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time finally looks to break the trend of crummy video game adaptations. We’ve suffered three Resident Evils, two Mortal Kombats, two Street Fighers, and one Super Mario Bros. and of all of them, none have

been remotely good (although Street Fighter is pretty laughable.) Enter Jerry Bruckheimer and Walt Disney who look to finally break the mold on May 28, 2010 with the first entry for the Prince of Persia films. Thanks to the wonderful people at /film, footage has finally been released on the internet and I have to say…it looks fun. I wasn’t a fan of the Pirate movies but this looks to go right where those went wrong. It will be interesting to see how Jake Gyllenhaal holds up as a Persian, but I suppose movies have been doing that type of casting since forever.
