The A-Team was seriously before my time. In fact, I’ve never even caught an episode of the show in reruns, and that says something because I watched a lot of TV as a child.
So it consistently astounds me that the new film update of The A-Team keeps pushing forward — apparently a big fan base exists somewhere, or are they just developing the film in a kitschy vacuum of disinterest?
Regardless, it seems that Mr. T’s role of B.A. Baracus will be filled by UFC fighter Quentin “Rampage” Jackson, alongside Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson.
The sole redeeming factor behind this whole thing for me is Joe Carnahan’s direction — I’m madly in love with Smokin’ Aces, and if he plans to invest that sort of bombast in this film, I’m all for it.

So because YOU have never seen an A-Team episode, they shouldn’t produce the movie? Quite full of yourself.
Not saying that at all. Simply posing a question of whether or not a big fan base still exists for the A-Team. I’m a fan of Joe Carnahan, but personally he’s the only draw for me here.
