Zellweger as Bridget Jones
Hot off the high heels of her newly released rom-com on DVD, New in Town, comes news that Renee Zellweger will be back for another go at love as Bridget Jones.
Working Title is developing a third chapter in the Bridget Jones series. Zellweger will return as the neurotic British publishing exec who struggles to find the rarest of all gems: love.
While the project is still in the very early stages, the story will most likely focus on author Helen Fielding’s weekly newspaper columns from 2005, which has 40-something Bridget attempting to have a baby before it’s too late.
Get ready for turkey baster jokes.

Yeah, Fielding was enticed by lots of money to throw together the last columns. She had already moved to the States and had a child of her own. Her change in lifestyle was really reflected in her writing then. (in a negative way) She also wrote these columns quickly and it shows in the lack of quality.
