Farrah Fawcett (February 2, 1947 - June 25, 2009)
Unfortunately this has turned into a very depressing week with people who have passed on, the newest on the list is actress Farrah Fawcett. Struggling for awhile with a battle with cancer, she passed on this morning at the Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California at the age of 62. Best known for her role as Jill Munroe in the late seventies hit TV series Charlie’s Angels, Farrah became an international icon from her famous bathing suit picture to people trying to constantly imitate her famous do.
Fawcett’s long career in acting has spread out from the stage to independent features. Inspiring many and being practically the iconic face of a generation, she will live in the hearts and minds of many of us. She is survived by her long time boyfriend Ryan O’Neal and her son Redmond.
