I have watched all the indy films religiously and know every line. This new addition only did justice to the others during the action scenes, which were, admittedly, plentiful, but other than that it really tries to throw the series down the drain. Perhaps the previous indies were responsible for some bad nightmares in the Spielberg house or Geourge Lucas' dog got run over by one of those "hitler-mobiles" he's so fond of; we just don't KNOW! The ending was definitely the most shocking bit; not even worthy of comment, it should have been simply cut out and stuck back into whatever star trek star trek series it came from.

Oh jeez, bitch more. Its a damn FILM. If it kept you looking in its direction for an hour and a half, it did its part. You people are just old and want the same old movies again but with flashy CGI. Well guess what, its 2008 and you're getting either or.

The movie was horrible. It had it's witty moments, but in no way was it up to par with the series. This will remain the Indiana Jones TRILOGY with bonus scenes.

Shia LeBeouf was horrible for the part and Cate Blanchett didn't act the part (as well her accent kept changing back and forth).

Poor show

Okay I would like to disagree with the author of the article. First off the plot of the movie was completely see through! From Mutt to the Aliens I could not enjoy this movie because I felt I already knew what was going to happen. And the worst part about it was that I hadn't seen the first three movies before hand, so I couldn't even predict the plot based on what I had see in the first three. I thought the acting was far below what I've come to see in each actor. Now I wouldn't recommend this movie to any of my friends, but being that this is the latest of the Indiana Jones films I feel there will be a lot of people still going to the movies to see it and a lot of unsatisfied Indy fans leaving the theatres.

I've been an Indy fan for 20 years. This was not only the worst Indiana Jones ever, this was also a terrible film. And I mean terrible like in "The Return of the Mummy / Phantom Menace / Lara Croft" !
No scenario ("Oooh ! A flying saucer !" "No kiddo, it is a transdimensional saucer."), stupid moments (Lead fridge, people ? Come on ! Ooops, sorry, no there's worse : the magic car that conveniently falls on a tree and keeps all its passenger even after 3 waterfalls).
No characters (Marion giggles and giggles and do what else ? Oh yeah, she giggles) and no class (remember the end of Indy 3 ? Classy, wasn't it ? Well, compare with Indy 4 now and Shia LaBeouf and his comb !)
Horrible.

I'd have to say that it was mildly entertaining, but it wasn't the old genuine Indiana Jones movies I grew up with, it kind of sucked but you kept watching it because you hoped it would get better just because it's Indy...

I have to agree, this is the worst Indy film I have ever seen. The acting was just so wooden, the storyline seemed like a reject script from X Files or Stargate etc. It's a pity that they're talking about another Indy film, I'd say forget it, don't milk it for anymore than its worth, they've pretty much killed the Series with this trash.

I got to see it yesterday. WOW what a piece of trash. I hate even saying this about Indiana Jones but this movie was horrible. The last time I had a bad feelinga bout a movie I watched was "War" last year. It took them 19 years and this is what I got?? They should have just used the unused script that ended up being used for "The Mummy 2."
