Say It Ain’t So! Fox Moving Towards Another ‘Darko’ Sequel

"I can hear his nose whistling..."

I’m not sure what’s worse: the direct-to-disc Donnie Darko sequel, S. Darko, or the troubling prospect that 20th Century Fox will begin production on another sequel to the cult favorite? But for those who viewed S. Darko and left with a bitter taste, fear not Bunny People, original Darko scribe Richard Kelly is reportedly back in the fray.

Kelly wrote and directed the 2001 feature starring a little-known actor by the name of Jake Gyllenhaal. Gyllenhaal, along with Kelly, was absent from the 2009 sequel. S. Darko starred Daveigh Chase and Briana Evigan. Chase reprised her role as Donnie’s sister Samantha.
