class="wp-caption-text">Daredevil with a new gal, will it come back to life?

What is that you hear? Yet another Marvel movie coming out of the woodwork? No fellow Popcorn freaks, this is not another update on said Marvel Studios movie that will be in connection to The Avengers movie set for 2012, but on a reboot. For quite awhile there have been murmurs of them possibly reviving the Daredevil Marvel property after the critically bashed 2003 film of the same name and the underperforming 2005 Elektra spinoff flick. Now the guys at Los Angeles based comic book shop Golden Apple have the scoop.

“So we got a little visit in our comic shop last week by Katee Sackhoff, also known as Starbuck for her role on BSG. She proceeded to grab all the Typhoid Mary comics we had and has hopes to get a part for a marvel movie….”

That makes a lot of us ponder if the people at 20th Century Fox are ready to breathe some life back into the withered away franchise. Do not forget folks, even though it is a Marvel based property, its rights are still intertwined with Fox for the time being. Knowing them and their recent ongoing success with the X-Men franchise, this reporter is positive that the notion of a revival for Daredevil is most likely going to happen.

The 50 Hottest women who like to play with the sword

Movie News

daredevil

jennifer garner

joan of arc

kill bill

link thanks

lucy liu

milla jovovich

movie review

o ren ishii

quentin tarantino

resident evil

resident evil series

supermodel

uma thurman
<guid

With the list put together by a buddy Ken, we really can’t do anything but look. Below is a small excerpt from my favorites.

13. Milla Jovovich

Looks:

Milla Jovovich is gorgeous. She’s been a supermodel, gracing the covers of over 100 magazines as well as earning over $10 million dollars from her modelling in 2004 alone.

She can certainly handle her sword too. She wields it threateningly and convincingly in “Messenger: Story of Joan of Arc”, “Ultraviolet” as well as in all of the “Resident Evil” series.

And her acting? Well… Did I mention that she was gorgeous?

Looks:

Jennifer Garner first got everyone’s attention in “Alias”. I can’t recall if she ever used a sword in that TV series, but she made up for it in “Daredevil” and “Elektra”.

She’s held her own in some non-action movies as well, which means she’ll likely be moving away from the swordplay as she gets older. That’s a real shame for us blade fans.

9. Lucy Liu

In some Bizarro universe, O-Ren Ishii takes down Beatrix Kiddo in “Kill Bill, Volume I” and then things start to really get interesting.

In that world, we get to see Lucy Liu hack her way through four hours of sword-fighting mayhem instead of Uma Thurman. Whaddya think, should we lobby Quentin Tarantino for a “Kill Beatrix, Volume I”? I say Lucy could pull it off.

Lucy’s acting has come a long way from her “Ally McBeal” days. She hangs tough in the other categories as well, which is why she’s near the top of this list.

<img
