Sam Raimi’s Ghost House horror genre production label will now branch into a new one — Spooky Pictures, which will focus on delivering horror/thriller films to family audiences. This seems odd coming right off the heels of Disney’s deal with Guillermo Del Toro to create Double Dare You.

Disney’s business plan is blowing up huge. Apparently the expansion into Marvel territory wasn’t enough, and now Guillermo Del Toro will be lending his talents to the House of Mouse.
Del Toro is starting a new animation label entitled “Double Dare You,” which will produce darker animated thriller films.
Del Toro told Variety that:
