The nice thing about owning it and creator-owned properties is that JG and I will still be producers on the thing, and will still obviously get paid for the rights.”

I think sticking to one book is a great idea as the original is the best and will remain so. The questions arise, who is coming back for the new film?

Stay tuned for more “Wanted” news.

Breakfast Club remake?

Movie News

anger

breakfast club

bridget

film choice

genre

hollywood

hollywood reporter

lizzy weiss

mastro

new film

o hare airport

veteran producer
<guid

Although its not a true remake, the storyline of “Bumped” is a completely updated version of the Breakfast Club except it takes place in Chicago’s O’Hare airport.

From HR – “Veteran producer Bridget Johnson will produce “Bumped,” a modern-day version of “The Breakfast Club,” with McG protege Anna Mastro attached to direct from a script by Lizzy Weiss.”

The Breakfast Club should be a film and part of a genre that should be left untouched and never even considered for a new film choice. Its not because of the awesome film making, or the superb acting, its just a classic in so many people’s minds that it should be left. It was a film that touched the heart of so many kids at that time in their lives, it would be a shame to see another version trying to succeed of the “club’s” long standing success as a great 80′s film.

To see a little more about what the film may be – visit <a
