We’ve all been waiting for it, and it’s finally here. Midseason TV shows! While there are many favorites returning, there are also some replacements and schedule moves. Here’s a look at the new lineup for The CW.

The network’s midseason begins with a new Monday schedule of all-original episodes on Monday, Jan. 18. One Tree Hill will return at 8 followed by the new series Life Unexpected at 9.  Encores of Life Unexpected and Gossip Girl are set to air Wednesdays beginning Jan. 20 until Top Model returns on March 3.

Thursdays nights start on Jan 21, with new episodes of the popular freshman drama The Vampire Diaries, and Supernatural.  Smallville, which was replaced on Thursdays by Diaries, is heading back to its Friday nighttime slot the following evening.

The CW’s current Tuesday combination of 90210 and Melrose Place will not return with original episodes on March 9.

America’s Next Top Model starts its 14^th network cycle with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, March 3 at 8. The show will return to its regular time slot on Wednesday, March 10.

While The CW is premiering Life Unexpected on Mondays at 9, the show will not finish the season there. On March 8, Life moves to the 8-9 p.m. time slot, and One Tree Hill is replaced by new episodes of Gossip Girl at 9.

After Life Unexpected has completed its initial 13-episode run on April 19, Monday night’s will finish the season with One Tree Hill at 8 p.m. and Gossip Girl at 9.

It seems that Kevin Smith has again seen a movie before anyone else. Lucky little bastard sort of reviews “Star Trek” for us. “Star Trek” is due out May 8th 2009 and I will be there to see what this early hype is all about.

The opening scene from Guy Ritchie’s “RockNRolla” is on the web. This looks like its going to kick some serious ass. Can’t wait to see it!

Shia LeBeouf’s drunken mishap a few weeks ago, seems to of made it into the script of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” Personally I think its crap to do this but I guess you have to do what you have to do when you are cool as Michael Bay is.

For all of you “Smallville” fanboys – it seems that Clark Kent will actually fly this season! About damn time “Superman” learns how to fly.

Seems like Enik from “The Land of the Lost” is making an appearance next to Will Farrell. I hope Farrell doesn’t screw this one up. Check out the photos at the link.

The latest attempt at a web series comes from NBC and its new show, “Gemini Division”, which premiered on Monday, August 18, over at www.geminidivision.com, and stars Rosario Dawson, Justin Hartley (Smallville), and Kevin Alejandro (Ugly Betty).

“Gemini Division” is a female first-person confessional (Lonelygirl15-like) about biotech run wild. Rosario Dawson plays Anna Diaz, a New York City detective on a trip in Paris with her boyfriend (Justin Hartley), who seems to have something wrong with him.

What do you guys think about it? Not to shabby if I may say so myself.

I just thought with a small lapse in news on the site, I could update you all with a few tidbits from around the world of Hollywood.

• Heroes now have their own toys. Toys R Us is selling a line of action figures based on our beloved characters from the show.
• Yahoo has brought us some new Hellyboy 2 photos.
• “Smallville” creators and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar have announced they are not staying on for the eighth season of the show. Do we really care though?
• “I am Legend” is still soaring on the DVD charts.

Now I do know that there are leaked Dark Knight photos out there but since they are not properly published I will refrain from posting them here. If you want them, Google is your friend.
