Matt Goldberg over at Collider.com has scored some great photos from the upcoming re-envision of the classic Clash of the Titans. While I am not anxious that this will be trash, I do wonder how they will fold in what has been done before. The classic film is such a thing of beauty for what it was and to re-make something like that could harm the original.

For those of you who have no idea what this film is about (shame on you) here is the synopsis:

The ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades, vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades (Ralph Fiennes) before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Should have guessed this was coming sooner or later, but the viral marketing for Terminator: Salvation is now in full effect. Resist Or Be Terminated has the link up for a video “from the future”. I’m pretty impressed with it and pretty sure it’s the resistance looking for something, but no one knows what yet. I do appreciate the FPS shot in this video and hope we get some in the action.

The viral marketing continues with the site mentioned above and Skynet Research. I’d say with some interest renewed in the film, these are worth checking out. You can also check out the video either on Resist or Be Terminated or below:

Terminator Salvation Trailer

With one of the many highly anticipated films to burst out through the summer months, Terminator Salvation continues to surprise us with not another Christian Bale vein bursting moment, but quite a few more production stills from the movie and a spanking new poster. Along with it is a preview of the newest trailer that is set to be released online at 4PM PST today.

Set in a post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale) is a man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger who’s last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus hsa been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares for its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an oddessy that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind. The newest Terminator

This is an official photo to the summer film, Terminator Salvation. GamePro got a hold of this image for their March magazine release.

If your thinking, “Hey this is 2009, why does the Terminator look like a robot from the 1800′s?” Well here is a little history for you. This terminator model is the T-600 approximately 10 years off the Arnold Schwarzenneger T-850 model. Below is the T-850 model.

I must say that this trailer kicks a ton of ass. I am truly excited about this film even with true fanboys complaining of a fourth film. While 3 was terrible, as I think everyone assumed it would be, this movie looks to be a reboot, The Dark Knight style.

A new way of bringing to life John Conner and crew. McG has brought us something special if you ask me. I am looking forward to reviewing this one for you all.
