The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day Opening Next Week

A decade after the release of the cult classic The Boondock Saints, fans of the film will finally see what happened to the McManus brothers after their reunion with their father.
October 30th will see the release of Apparition and Stage 6 Films The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. With a film has popular as The Boondock Saints, a sequel would have to be very well crafted in order to live up to its precursor.
Luckily, Troy Duffy, writer and director of The Boondock Saints, remained writer and director for All Saints Day, meaning audiences can expect to see the same tough style that set The Boondock Saints apart.
The first film ended with Connor and Murphy McManus being reunited with their long-lost father, and continuing their vigilante streak with him by their side. According to the press release for the film, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day picks up in Ireland where the brothers have been living in hiding with their father.
Far from their former life as renegades, the brothers are drawn back to Boston when they find out that the mob has killed a beloved priest. In true Saint fashion, Connor and Murphy exact justice in their own violent manner.
Teamed up with a new partner and being closely pursued by a female FBI agent, audiences can expect a film as action-packed and full of vigilante justice as the first.
