Tyler Perry on a role with two more films

Lionsgate has obtained the rights to two more of Tyler Perry’s films. The two in question will be “Why Did I Get Married Too” a sequel to his film “Why Did I Get Married” and the other one will be “I Can Do Bad All by Myself”. Perry’s most recent film “Madea Goes To Jail” has made $65 million since opening nearly 2 weeks ago. Taraj P. Henson famous for her role in Benjamin Button will star in “I Can Do Bad All by Myself”. The film will start shooting March 16 at Perry’s new studio complex in Atlanta.

I’m not the target demo for Perry’s films but I’m sure they will do well. I saw two of them and was really just bored throughout. As long as he is making the studio money they will make more of them. I will not be seeing either one of these but it’s the $$$ signs that speak loudest in Hollywood. His films seem like they go for comedy one minute then overly dramatic the next.
