Overall bad ass and talented actor Javier Bardem is possibly going to seep back into villain mode in the sequel to the 1987 Academy Award winning movie from famed director Oliver Stone, Wall Street. Taken from Deadly Hollywood Daily, they report that the No Country For Old Men supporting actor will be fighting it out in a more financial aspect against co-star Shia LaBeouf.
“Shia wants to be a major player, but his mentor unexpectedly kills himself, and Shia thinks a stock-shorting worldwide hedge fund manager is responsible. Shia seeks revenge on this villain, to be played by No Country For Old Men Supporting Actor Oscar-winner Javier Bardem.”
Currently being penned by Allan Loeb, Money Never Sleeps (or as we know it, Wall Street 2) is slated for a 2010 release date with filming beginning on August 10th of this year. There is still one major role left, the role of Gordon Gekko’s daughter, but when that is filled and other news starts seeping in keep your eyes peeled here for the latest on the 20th Century Fox distributed movie.
