There he is!
Do you all remember the fun Where’s Waldo books buried in your elementary and middle school’s libraries you used to go through when you were super bored? Well, now Waldo is jumping from an eight or so paged search book onto the big screen thanks to Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment. Sorry, its not April Fools Day, its June 1rst, despite what you might have all thought.
Surprisingly enough, Where’s Waldo has been in the middle of a bidding war for a fair while now, with Warner Bros. Pictures being the most recent pursuer before Universal got their hands on it. Illumination Entertainment is also currently coming up with films Despicable Me with the voice talents of Steve Carrel, Kristen Wiig among others and Flanimals, a film based off of the same titled stories from Ricky Gervais.
