This idea eventually got nixed by Marvel and Marv Wolfman as Marv wouldn't sing off on the character rights. Personally I don't like this as a villain for Spider-Man in the movies. I'd much rather see Kraven the Hunter, or a combination of the Vulture and the Rhino (which has to be in bad-ass battle suit like in the Ultimate Spider-Man series).
